Many people hang their kilts (and many kilts come with loops for that purpose) but the best way to store your kilt is to roll it up backwards and lay it flat, preferably in a cedar chest or the equivalent. I know of several chaps who store their Highland Dress in a Tupperware™ or equivalent container of suitable dimensions – everything’s secure against moths and in one location, so no more tearing the house apart looking for your other moggan!
